Presbyterian Women in the Presbytery of Riverside seeks to build an inclusive, caring community of women with diverse voices and backgrounds. We support the mission of the church worldwide, work for justice and peace, and nurture our faith through prayer and bible study.
Presbyterian Women’s groups are organized at all levels of our denomination — congregation, presbytery, synod, and churchwide. You can participate at one level, all levels, or somewhere in between! For most women, connecting with Presbyterian Women (PW) happens in their congregations. Many women also connect at presbytery, synod, or churchwide levels. Like the connectional structure of the church, PW in the Congregations has representation and contact with the PW in the Presbytery; the PW in the Presbyteries relates to PW in the Synod; the PW in the Synod relates to PW Churchwide. Information and programming move in all directions throughout the structure, with local and regional work impacting national work and national work informing regional and local work. Presbyterian Women are connected and connectional!
