The following minister members of our presbytery have ordination anniversaries in the next little bit: Hameed Barkat, H.R. former pastor of the Pakistani Fellowship of Redlands was ordained on July 19, 1962, Wayne Morrow, the pastor of both Desert Hills and the Transitional Pastor at Cathedral City was ordained on July 19, 1987, Stuart Wood, H.R. who until 1999 was the pastor of St. Andrews, Indio and now is in poor health in Long Beach was ordained on July 19, 1966. Jan Willete, H.R. who is retired at Pilgrim Place, in Claremont was ordained on July 25, 1971. Martin Smith who is the pastor of Northkirk, Rancho Cucamonga was ordained on July 27, 2008. Andrew Parnell, who was the associate pastor at Magnolia Riverside and is serving as the Temporary Pastor of the Rialto church was ordained on July 30, 2006. Thelma King, H.R. who I have not had the privilege of meeting was ordained on August 4, 2002. Musiko Budi, who was the Indonesian pastor at the Colton Church was ordained on August 7, 1999. Paul Wu, who recently retired from Patton State Hospital as a chaplain was ordained on August 19, 1989. Bill Stanley, who has been the long-time pastor at Lake Arrowhead Community Presbyterian Church was ordained August 29, 1993. Karen Lloyd, who served the Hemet Church was ordained on September 1, 1979. Bill McGuigan. H.R. will have been ordained 55 years (!) on September 1st. He served the Calvary Church in Riverside. Congratulations and thank you all for our faithfulness.

Birthdays coming up: Diane Frasher, our former clerk, and frequent pulpit supply who is now stated clerk of our adjacent presbytery, San Gabriel—July 23rd. Joe Mazzela, who is leaving our presbytery and the Presbyterian Church USA for service in Sanger to be near his Dad—July 25th. Ken Gammons, who served the Los Alamitos Church in Orange County and is now retired in the Victor Valley—July 26th. Nelson Grande, who served the Westminster, Ontario Church—August 2nd. Lynn Kennedy, who is a member at large living in Crestline—August 2nd. And Alfred Graise, who is the co-pastor at Calvary Riverside—August 3rd.
I apologize for missing the ordination anniversaries and birthdays of those in early July. Please inform me of any recognitions that you would like me to add. Also, we want to provide the same service to Ruling Elders who serve our presbytery and Christ’s Church so well. We will be sending a mailer out to the clerks of the session with Ruling Elders who serve as commissioners to our Assemblies and on presbytery commissions/committees and teams.
